Google Play Magazines and Zinio magazines are a pleasure to view and even the typically tiny text in magazine articles is readable without zooming, which is quite a feat on a small screen.

We lay the praise at Ice Cream Sandwich's door for making better use of the dual-core chip held within.

Yes, it has a price tag to match, but that's fair enough when you're getting the fastest CPU and graphics, an amazingly high resolution display that looks great, an AV remote, dual band WiFi 802.11ac, GPS, the latest version of Android and a stellar Office suite.

Enriching browsing, Adobe Flash support is in, and the 7in form is a good size for reading web pages.

I used the two side-by-side quite a bit, and the differences are stark: the AMOLED screen is so high-contrast that whites look pearly and blacks look like total darkness; the Tab 2's display gives whites the slightest yellowish tint, and blacks are just a bit.
