The 1280 x 800 display means text appears sharp and clear, and with suitable font size tools, even those with poorer eyesight should be able read easily on the tablet.

Reviews Word on the street

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1  vs G Pad 8.3

I suspect most folks will love the 273 ppi display, and wouldn't imagine there's a better display on the market in this size unless you put it directly next to the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 with its insanely high 2560 x 1600 display or the iPad mini with Retina display with its superior colors and black levels.
G Pad 8.3

I wasn't kidding about it being sharp; it has a wide viewing angle, it's easy to view outdoors in sunlight, and text and menu icons look smooth.
G Pad 8.3

With this LCD IPS display, LG has just nailed the balance between blue and red, resulting in a perfect color temperature of about 6588 K (kelvin), with the reference point being 6500 K. That's pretty much unprecedented for such a display so far.
G Pad 8.3

As far as stock editors go the one of the G Pad 8.3 is pretty well equipped and its intuitive interface makes it easy to use.
