Reviews Word on the street for the Fujitsu Stylistic M532

If you want HDMI out and USB host (full size USB ports for peripherals), you’ll have to get Fujitsu’s $70 dock that adds those ports.

The pictures turned out fine, with good contrast, accurate color representation, and the amount of detail we’d expect from an 8MP shooter.

Not only is the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 offering Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box, it also has an Nvidia Tegra 3 processor tucked inside running the whole show, 1GB RAM, 32GB SSD storage and an 8MP rear-facing camera.

What People Are Saying Give it to me straight

Operating System

A great Android offering from Fujitsu, the Stylistic M532 dutifully ticks each box on our what-we-want-from-a-tablet list.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
The Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet has the cleanest build of Android you’ll see outside of Google reference devices like the first Motorola Xoom and the Nexus 10.
by MobileTechReview (Oct, 2012)
This device is aimed at taking on the top tier of Android tablets, and the price reflects that.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)

If you are fine with standard display resolution, you can get the 32GB iPad 2 in 3G flavor for about the same money as the Fujitsu Stylistic M532, and have an abundance of slicker tablet-tailored apps at your disposal.
by PhoneArena (Sep, 2012)
Text was clear and sharp on the screen, and thanks to the pinch-and-zoom function you can resize text to whatever size you want.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
The display is otherwise sufficiently bright for comfortable operation outside, and has good color representation.
by PhoneArena (Sep, 2012)

Operating system

During day-to-day usage, the operating system was snappy and responsive.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
Given the tendency (especially from budget manufacturers) to cram hardware full of unnecessary software, the blank canvas of the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 is refreshing.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
Music is played through the stock Android player, although - like the video player - there is plenty of choice available on Google Play if you don't like the look of Android's own offering.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)

We tested out demanding 3D games such as the excellent Temple Run, and the graphics were sharp while the gameplay was fluid.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
The good news is that if you want to use this for gaming, the hardware is more than up to the task.
by TechRadar (Jul, 2012)
Moreover, you have the added benefit of Tegra Zone, which is full of games written exclusively for this system chip.
by PhoneArena (Sep, 2012)

The micro USB port does not support USB host.
by MobileTechReview (Oct, 2012)
As far as ports are concerned, the tablet sports two of those – one proprietary dock connector for charging only, and one microUSB port for data transfer.
by PhoneArena (Sep, 2012)
Unfortunately, there's no micro HDMI port for hooking the Fujitsu Stylistic M532 up to an external display, so for that you'll need to get either a micro USB adaptor or cradle that attaches to the proprietary port on the bottom of the tablet.
