Yes, any music fan should really be investing in a decent set of third-party earphones, but the fact remains that only one of these devices enables you to listen to music out of the box - at least without relying on a tinny speaker.

Asus Padfone 2 vs Asus FonePad: Which should you buy?

by Jon Mundy |
www.techradar.com
Obviously the Padfone 2 also has that 10.1-inch tablet adaptor, but with no increase in resolution and an inferior picture, both video and text can look a little grainy and washed out when blown up to such a size.
It's a brilliant mobile browser, with its minimalistic interface, intuitive use of multiple tabs and ability to sync bookmarks with the desktop equivalent.

Asus Padfone 2 UK release date finally announced

by Kate Solomon  |
www.techradar.com
While its successor was shown off at MWC 2013 today, we're not expecting to see the Padfone Infinity hit the shelves for a good while yet so if you're keen to enjoy a phone in a tablet, then the Padfone 2 is your best bet.
To get the Padfone 2 with its Padstation dock, you'll have to shell out £599; but you do get a choice of black or white, so there is that.

Asus Padfone 2 may arrive sooner than expected

by John McCann |
www.techradar.com
You'll need some serious cash though if you fancy getting your hands on the Padfone 2 with the 32GB model reportedly sporting a price tag of €799 (around £642/$1020/AU$980), while the 64GB version will set you back €899 (around £720/$1150/AU$1105).
It's currently thought the Padfone 2 will arrive in Europe at the start of 2013 but this latest news does raise hopes of an earlier arrival.
