Alcatel Evo 8HD unveiled: sleek aluminum tablet

by Victor H. |
In addition to its new flagship, the Alcatel One Touch Idol X, and a bunch of new Android handsets, Alcatel has also unveiled a tablet - the 8-inch aluminum and sleek Alcatel Evo 8HD.
The aluminum body is merely 9mm thick, and the tablet features an HD display, a dual-core 1.6GHz chip and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
The Alcatel One Touch Scribe HD, for example, should launch in Europe no sooner than March while the Alcatel One Touch M'Pop is expected to make a splash in April, as a company spokesperson confirmed earlier today.
The One Touch Scribe lineup is planned to make its Stateside debut in Q3 of this year.

Alcatel One Touch Evo 7 tablet hands-on

by Maxwell R. |
The design is not pedestrian, the back panel has a nice looking metal motif with a long speaker grill along the edge.
The Evo 7 shares a wide bezel like the Tab 7HD and the tablet was responsive running what is by and large, stock Android.
